Don and Jacob are jointly presenting the discussion topic "What About the Holidays?" next Sunday. They will provide a overview of the reasons why atheists are ambivalent towards holidays. We hope that it will be an opportunity for all of us to speak about how we approach the subject of holidays with our families. Give it some thought and bring an open mind to the meeting.
The meeting will be at Sherry's Apartment, from 10:30 AM until 12 AM Sunday morning. Coffee and snacks will be provided. Please email Sherry for driving directions if you'd like to come.
This Sunday's discussion was very informative. Apollonia and Chelsea led a discussion of how to best utilize health resources in a "health care" system that expects you to advocate for yourself. Chelsea discussed which alternative therapies are rational, which are superstition, and which are dangerous.
The Secular Fellowship is soliciting discussion topic ideas and community service project proposals. Please send any ideas to secularfellowship@gmail.com and I will collect and organize them.
