John is presenting the discussion topic "The Moral Merits of Atheism" next Sunday. Today's discussion was awesome. Dalton led the discussion by explaining his struggle to relate to Christians in his workplace. We found some real strategies to assert our atheism and secular values while at the same time respecting the culture and religion of our coworkers.
Monica volunteered to take the role of treasurer (to manage the money we don't yet have).
We scheduled the first Secular Fellowship Potluck for December 6th after the regular meeting, and decided that subsequent potlucks will be held on the first Sunday of every month.
The Secular Fellowship is soliciting discussion topic ideas and community service project proposals. Please send any ideas to secularfellowship@gmail.com and I will collect and organize them.
